How about in Malaysia??? We have Red Cafe at Jalan Pinang before but what happen to that cafe now??? There is also an outlet near Central Market..but.. now no more.

England’s best known premier league soccer club, Manchester United FC, is set to open a café bar and retail outlet in Shanghai, after opening branches in South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Macau.

Additional outlets are also expected to be opened shortly in Mumbai and Hong Kong. The club is one of the most widely supported teams globally and is capitalizing on next year’s World Cup Finals with a target of 14 more outlets within Asia in the next two years.

The outlets will feature food, music, DVDs, live match broadcasts and Manchester United retail wear such as shirts and other memorabilia, plus training schemes and advice on football and physical fitness courses.

The Hong Kong outlet will display more of the club’s British roots and will probably offer fish and chips, sausages and mash, in addition to beer. The retail outlet arm of the club is operated by Singapore-based MUFB Asia. The club’s second outlet in Seoul opened last week.

Although I am still disappointed with Ronaldo decision to leave United this season..but I have to agree with Zidane on this.

Zidane told AS: “Cristiano is very good, he is phenomenal.”

“He does great things, sometimes even better than me.”

“I see him doing very well at Madrid, of course he can win the FIFA award.”

I am not really believe with this rumor but if it is true... it might be great for Manutd. However, I still believe Micheal Owen is good enough for Manutd this season.

Furthermore, why should we accept him back when he rejected us last summer??

Karim Benzema has had a disappointing start to his Real Madrid career - and Florentino Perez is already considering attempting to recuperate the £35million splashed out on him in the summer by selling him, rather than waiting to see if he settles and risk seeing his value diminish.

The only reason I subscribe with digital satellite tv is because of football. Other than that.. I am not really interested. Having ESPN in wonderful..it is also same with StarSports. I like both channels.

I don't know what happen if I don't have dirctv in my house. I am going to miss Manchester United match and it is really hard to take...miss United match in every weekends.

Last week was a really great match for United. I am quite with Manutd thrashing West Ham 4-0. I hope Manutd can continue their fine form and retain their Premiership title this season.

So, for tomorrow night... I am not going to miss the match between Manutd vs Villa in directtv.com. I love to watch United winning by at least 2 goals. Haha!

Wayne Rooney has dismissed speculation that he could be tempted to move to Spain by insisting that he would happily finish his career at Manchester United.

Barcelona were reported last week to be planning an £85 million bid to lure the England striker to the Nou Camp while his former team-mate, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said he would love to see Rooney playing alongside him at Real Madrid.

But Rooney, preparing for England's friendly against Brazil today, revealed that he expects to shortly begin talks with United about extending his contract beyond 2012, when his current deal is due to expire.

"It is nice to get noticed but I have said before I am really happy at United," the 24-year-old said. "Unless they tell me otherwise, I can't really see myself leaving.

"Obviously I've got two years left after this year (season), so I'm sure over the next few months we will be negotiating a new deal."

Asked if he was contemplating finishing his career at Old Trafford, Rooney responded with an emphatic 'yes', before underlining the importance he attaches to being close to his roots in nearby Liverpool.

"I love the place," Rooney said. "It is 30 minutes from home and all my family and I have got a great chance of winning trophies.

"It is a massive club. Growing up, although I was an Everton fan, I used to love watching United play, the way they played and attacked, always right to the end and scoring so many late goals.

"Now to be there and winning trophies, I don't think I will be going anywhere soon."

The hunger of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has also contributed to Rooney's love affair with the club, and the striker understands why the Scot, who received a two-match touchline ban on Thursday, is capable of getting so worked up over perceived injustices at the hands of referees.

"Still now at his age he wants to win all the time and it is incredible to see," Rooney said.

Rooney himself was given a disciplinary rap on the knuckles after he mouthed "12 men" into a television camera in the wake of United's controversial 1-0 defeat by Chelsea on Sunday.

On reflection he accepts that the implied suggestion that referee Martin Atkinson had favoured Chelsea was unwise.

"I felt we deserved more out of the game and obviously at the end emotions were high. But when I look back, probably I should not have said it," Rooney admitted.

"I felt we did not get the decisions but that is the way it goes. There are games when we have got them when we shouldn't have."

Shopping can be fun. But most of the time it is too time consuming. Thank god for online shops. I don’t know what I would do without them. Out of the four stuffs above I need the sunglasses most urgently. I am going on a holiday to Bali in the end of this month so I definitely need one that is stylo and yet comfortable.

The style that suits me the most is Sports Wrap coz it kinda make me look very athletic. For the tropical Bali, I seriously need the one with 100% UV protection. Those with funky metallic colors are awesome too. I saw them at ShopWiki and the prices are pretty amazing. I just cannot be bothered to go to the mall for this. I am just gonna get my sunnies online.

David Villa prefer Manutd!!

With David Villa seemingly set to leave Valencia, a report in the Daily Mirror this morning claims the Spanish striker would prefer to join Manchester United than Chelsea.

Alan Nixon writes: "Chelsea will make a £33million bid for Valencia's super Spanish striker David Villa - but he would rather go to rivals Manchester United. Roman Abramovich has approved a mega bid for the hitman who will be sold by his hard-up club in the next transfer window, and a top agent has been brought in to do the deal."

Nixon adds: "the Villa camp have revealed that they have already turned down Chelsea once - in the last window - and the player would still prefer to go to United."

If Chelsea can get FIFA’s transfer ban lifted in time for the January transfer window they are expected to make a bid for Villa. United are reportedly interested but may not be willing to match the fee stumped up by the London club.

Valencia director Fernando Gomez admitted last week that the Spanish side would have to offload players in January due to increasing debt. It was also reported that David Villa had sacked his agent after failing to secure a summer move away from the Mestalla.

Villa, 27, has scored nine goals in 12 appearances in 2009/2010 – the Spanish striker is contracted to Valencia until the end of 2012/2013.

What a match!! Manutd defeated Arsenal 2-1 at Old Trafford!!

Manchester United roared back from a half-time deficit to record a controversial victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Andrey Arshavin capped a brilliant first half by putting Arsenal ahead and if Ben Foster had not denied Robin van Persie with a brilliant feet-first save, Arsenal would probably have won.

Instead, Wayne Rooney won a debatable penalty when he went down under Manuel Almunia's challenge, and scored it himself before Abou Diaby turned Ryan Giggs' free-kick into his own net to give the hosts their victory.

Van Persie thought he had equalised deep into stoppage time but his effort was ruled out for an offside against William Gallas, and Arsene Wenger's protest against the disallowed goal led to him being sent from the dug-out.

Diaby almost made amends instantly as he went on a mazy run that took him deep into United territory.

In this, of all weeks, Arsenal could probably have done without Eboue going down under a non-existent challenge from Evra, rightly earning the Gunners player a booking just before he was replaced by Nicklas Bendtner.

Arshavin limped off nine minutes from full-time, the extent of the damage potentially having a massive impact on Arsenal's season.

Berbatov and Nani should have added a third in stoppage time, but there was huge drama to come in the last seconds as William Gallas strayed offside to deny Van Persie the equaliser.

Wenger thought his side had scored. His reaction earned him dismissal to the stands, although he initially stood on an elevated section of the dug-out with his arms aloft refusing to leave the scene.

Michael Owen insists his first goal for Manchester United will be a springboard to prove the critics wrong.

Owen opened his account for the Premier League champions in Saturday's 5-0 victory against Wigan at the DW Stadium when he came off the bench to convert Nani's pass with a typically clinical finish.

The 29-year-old's goal was his first since January but he believes it offered a compelling response to the pundits who claimed he had little to offer Sir Alex Ferguson's team after missing several chances in pre-season.

Owen arrived at Old Trafford last month as a free agent after leaving relegated Newcastle. An ankle injury and a groin operation disrupted his final year on Tyneside but his overall contribution of 30 goals in 65 starts commands respect.

So too does his England tally - 40 in 89 international appearances - and Owen said: "I've missed a couple since the season started and, as ever, everyone is quick to write you off. It was as if I hadn't scored for a couple of years.

"That's something I've had to deal with for 10-odd years now and I don't think that will change until I hang up my boots.

"It was certainly a great feeling to score. I'd got a few in pre-season but there's nothing quite like doing it in a competitive game.

"I probably scored the hardest chance I've had. I had two chances at Burnley and one against Birmingham, but this was the fourth real opportunity I've had."

Owen is keen to kick on and in the process catch the eye of England manager Fabio Capello, who has so far refused to bring the former Liverpool star back from his international exile.

"I'd be disappointed if people didn't think I could go on from here," he told MUTV.

"I obviously believe I can as I have done throughout my career and I certainly expect to score more goals in the red shirt."

A convincing win at last...

Manchester United made amends for their humbling by Burnley as Wayne Rooney's double and Michael Owen's first goal for the Premier League champions inspired a 5-0 win at Wigan today.
Sir Alex Ferguson reacted to Wednesday's shock 1-0 loss at newly-promoted Burnley by making seven changes and the United manager was rewarded with a superb second half display. After a goalless first half, Rooney struck in the 56th minute when he met a cross from former Wigan winger Antonio Valenica with a perfect header.

That was Rooney's 100th goal for United and it opened the floodgates. Dimitar Berbatov put United in complete control in the 58th minute. The Bulgarian finished a flowing move by chipping over Chris Kirkland. Rooney ended any doubts about the result in the 65th minute when his shot deflected off Mario Melchiot and flashed past the wrong-footed Kirkland.
Owen came off the bench to score for the first time since Janaury with a sublime clipped finish. Nani got on the scoresheet himself in the 90th minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo suffering from 'Zidane Syndrome'

Cristiano Ronaldo is reported to be feeling the strain following his record-breaking £80million move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

With the ink still drying on his multi-million pound contract, Ronaldo has told those in his circle that he is struggling to adapt to the system favoured by coach Manuel Pellegrini and that he would prefer to play closer to the penalty area.

Spanish newspaper Marca claim Ronaldo is struggling to deal with the pressure and the huge weight of expectation on his shoulders following his world record summer move.

Team-mates have also reported seeing Ronaldo looking down-hearted at the club amid fears he is suffering from 'Zidane Syndrome'.

The French superstar, also weighed down by a record fee, struggled in his early days in the Spanish capital before eventually proving his worth.

Real president Florentino Perez, who has splashed out a massive £200million recruiting Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso during the close season, will not want any off-field issues to distract his new band of 'Galacticos' from the task of toppling arch rivals Barcelona.

My home doesn’t have a mailbox. That is why, the postman always just throw the letter into my gate or just put in at the gate. There are a lot of beautiful mailboxes can be found in the market but the price is just too much for me.

Sir Alex had told us many time that he already done shopping but the press say "NO". He is still searching for a midfielder. New rumour suggested that Manchester United currently battled with Liverpool for the signature of young Spanish - David Silva.

Manchester United are believed to have entered the race to sign Valencia winger David Silva.

Liverpool have long courted the Spaniard, and Rafa Benitez is known to be a big fan, but a price tag somewhere in the region of £23 million has put off the Anfield club.

That coupled with the imminent signing of Alberto Aquilani means that Liverpool's interest has quelled, but with Manchester United appearing to be in the hunt for his signature, the Reds might come back to the table for the player.

We just coming back from Bangkok, Thailand last Tuesday. It is quite a nice place for shopping because most of the stuff there were really cheap.

My wife bought a lot of cloth there. She is actually type of girl that believe you can improve the way you look dramatically, simply by changing the type of clothes you wear? I am not sure but maybe it's true. There are some types of clothing for women which will make a certain body type or size look much worse, and there are those which will make it look much better too. So if you want to look more attractive with everything you wear, take a look at some of these tips from her.

First and foremost, it's very important that you wear clothes you like. When you're wearing clothes which make you feel really good, you exude an air of personal confidence which automatically makes you appear more attractive to anyone and everyone you encounter.

With that said, let's look at some common do's and don'ts for choosing the appropriate clothes for yourself.

1. Fashion trend with high collar blouses will make your neck look much shorter. So if you feel your neck looks too long, you might want to consider adding more high collars to your word for it. If your neck a shorter course, then you'll want to avoid wearing these.

RIO Ferdinand has warned Chelsea that Manchester United will use Sunday's Community Shield clash to prove that they can cope without Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

While neither United boss Sir Alex Ferguson or Chelsea's new manager Carlo Ancelotti will read too much into the result of the traditional curtain-raiser to the English season, it is safe to say the focus will be on whether the English champions look a less dominant force now Ronaldo and Tevez are gone.

A world record 80 million pounds (S$191 million) fee for Ronaldo softened the blow of his exit to Real Madrid, but Tevez's defection to Manchester City still leaves a bitter taste at Old Trafford.

With pedometer, you might need a good running shoes as well. Get a good one and really fit with foot is important to make sure you can reduce the risk of getting injured. That is why..most Manutd player have their own custom made shoes.

Another things....yeah..off course...the nutritious food. No alcohol drinks is important if you asked the old player likes Ryan Giggs. That is why during the interview.. he always said that the secret of getting fit at his ages is to stop drinking!!

Oh great!!... hopefully Manutd end up as champion again this season although we are losing Ronaldo & Teves!!

Manutd lose out to Bayern Munich on penalties in Audi Cup 2009

A really good pre-season match for both Manutd and Bayern Munich. The most aggresive and competitive for Manutd in this pre season compared with the match during Asia Tour.

Bayern enjoyed the better of the first half, in which Mario Gomez and Dimitar Berbatov both hit the woodwork, but United then had the better opportunities after the interval – only for Rooney and Owen to fail to beat Bayern goalkeeper Michael Rensing in one-on-one situations.

The tackle on new signing Micheal Owen by Bayern’s Martin Demichelis was a major scare for Manutd fan and Sir Alex. If it had been a competitive match Demichelis would have received a red card. Then, the striker stayed on but was left holding his ankle as he tried to run the problem off.
He eventually went on to play until the 78th minute when he was replaced by Wayne Rooney.

Final score….0-0
Both team failed to score in normal time and at the end..the epic penalty showdown has been won by Bayern Munich 7-6.

Some said it is a FAKE and the others..believe it!!

This is the LEAKED Nike Ads… you can see the pictures of Rooney, Ronaldo, Rio’s goal celebration, Teves & Van der Sar in the ads…

But then….after the actual home kit and Nike ads has been released… it looks like this..

ALEX FERGUSON believes Cristiano Ronaldo's love for Manchester United could see him return to the club.

MANCHESTER UNITED manager Sir Alex Ferguson has written off big-spending Manchester City’s hopes of mounting a serious Premier League title challenge.

City have put champions United in the shade with an £80m summer spree on established stars Carlos Tevez, Emmanuel Adebayor, Roque Santa Cruz and Gareth Barry.

But Ferguson insists his local rivals will struggle to retain the limelight amid competition from United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

“We are being challenged for the back pages,” said Ferguson. “But I cannot look at Manchester City as our main competitors. Liverpool and Chelsea are our main competitors. There is no doubt about that.

“It won’t be easy for [City] to win anything, even with all the players they have bought. They have 10 strikers – that is a hell of a lot. How does [manager Mark Hughes] pick a team? How do you tell players they are not even going to be travelling to London? We’re all interested.”

“I see Chelsea and Liverpool as the main threats but I can’t make up my mind who is the better team,” he added. “Arsenal have the biggest job – they’ve sold Adebayor and don’t seem to have the money the rest have. How Arsene develops his team will be his biggest test. They could easily re-establish themselves and challenge again.”

City boss Hughes, meanwhile, yesterday hit back at Chelsea, insisting they had no grounds to accuse him of an illegal approach to their captain John Terry. “It wasn’t ourselves that published that we had made a bid for John Terry, it was Chelsea,” he said.

“Since then I’ve just been answering questions about John Terry. I don’t think that’s any basis to report either myself or Manchester City.”

Michael Owen hit the target again..against Malaysia XI

Michael Owen hit the target again yesterday as Manchester United made it two wins out of two on their pre-season tour, beating a plucky Malaysian XI 2-0.

Owen struck after 13 minutes from close range for his second goal in as many games, soon after teenage striker Federico Macheda put the team in front.

But despite countless other chances they failed to stretch their lead in the energy-sapping conditions.

"It was sticky night and I was exhausted just watching it," said Sir Alex Ferguson. "It was not as good a game as the other night, we had a lot of chances in the second half and maybe we should have done better with the finishing."

But he singled out Owen for praise after his storming start for the club.

"If he stays fit it will be an absolute bonus for us," he said.

"There were a couple of cases tonight where he's shown his real experience, and that's what he's really good at, his positioning, and he's so quick to get to the ball."

On a steamy night, the teams observed a minute's silence in memory of those who died in the Jakarta bombings last Friday.

United were due play Indonesia on Monday but cancelled the trip after the hotel they were to stay in was hit by the blasts which killed at least eight people and injured more than 50.

Sir Alex Ferguson rang the changes for this hastily-arranged match, the second against the hard-working Malaysians in as many days following their sluggish 3-2 win on Saturday, with Jonny Evans the only player to keep his place.

But with Owen set to make his United debut against a Malaysian XI in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, the 29-year-old, who has been handed the number seven shirt vacated by Cristiano Ronaldo, claims he is fit and ready to succeed at Old Trafford.

CARLOS TEVEZ claims he knew his days at Manchester United were numbered when Dimitar Berbatov joined the club.

The Argentina striker will be playing for a new team next season after turning down a five-year contract to remain at Old Trafford.

And he felt Berbatov’s arrival from Tottenham last summer, which provided further competition for places up front, proved to him his future did not lie at United.

"I am not sure where I am going to play, but I know for sure that will not be at Manchester (United)," Tevez said yesterday.

"When I arrived I had to fight for a place like any other player. My first season was good. I was a starter or a substitute, but I respected that.

"But in my second year, after the match against Liverpool, the coach started to overlook me. The fans supported me a lot so I thought that something was going on as my performances were also good. I was a professional.

"I did not feel supported after they signed Berbatov, because I was the man for the job he was bought to do.

"Last year I was the second top-scorer after Cristiano (Ronaldo). We won two titles (the Barclays Premier League and the Carling Cup) and being shut out like this was something that I could not understand."

Manchester United 2009/10 New Home Kit Revealed!!

Media outlets today received Nike teaser images ahead of the launch on July 1 and on sale from July 16. These images are in semi-darkness, and reveal little about the new design. You can also see it at Manutd.com.

The players will be wearing the kit for the first time during their pre-season tour of Asia next month against Malaysia XI ( Yes! Be proud about it). The squad fly out to the Far East on 16 July - the day the kit goes on sale and if you already pre-orders the kit from official website, they will also delivered the kit on that date.

A black ‘v-shape’ stripe features on the shirt’s chest, which also features a black round-neck collar. The stripe is reminiscent of shirts worn by Manchester United during the 1908-09 season, when they reached the FA Cup final.

“The new Manchester United home kit has been designed by Nike to recognise the clubs glorious history at Old Trafford in the ground’s centenary year and features several design cues that pay homage to the side that first played at the Theatre of Dreams,” read a release issued on behalf of Nike.

The socks are black but appear to have a red V stretching around the back, similar to the V on the front of the shirt. The white shorts have a thick red stripe running down the outside.

The teaser images still carry the logo of AIG, the American insurance giants, whose contract with the Premier League champions expires at the end of next season.

Liverpool’s manager believes they can win the title unless they remain injury free as the hunger and the quality of the squad is there and now they are closer than ever to the likes of Manchester United.

At last..Ronaldo really on a verge of leaving Manutd. At £80million.. it is pretty hard for United to ignore the offer. I have mixed feeling about this…. although I hate him last season for his “affair” with Real Madrid but he is an important player that helps United regain the Premier League title.

Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

At Cristiano’s request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player’s representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.

What a heart breaker for City’s fan. Although this is a world record but Kaka moves with lower salary offered by City and lower price too…hahahahahaha..

Real Madrid have announced they have completed the signing of Brazilian star Kaka from AC Milan on a six-year deal.

The fee is reported to be £56m, which would be a new world record in pounds, surpassing the £45.6m Madrid paid for Zinedine Zidane in 2001.

He is the first capture for the returning Real president Florentino Perez, who previously led the Spanish club from 2000 to 2006 - during the famous Galacticos era.

That resulted in the spending of large fees to bring the likes of Ronaldo (£23.2m), David Beckham (£24.5m), Luis Figo (£37m) and Zidane to the club.

Zidane joined Real from Juventus for a fee reported to be 73m euros in 2001.

Kaka’s fee is thought to be about 65m euros, but with the fluctuation in exchange rates his fee represents the most ever paid in British terms.

Perez’s comeback is on the back of a pledge to relaunch another Galacticos era, with Kaka one of his chief targets.

Manchester United losing in Champions League final and all the media said a bad things about Manutd. But….the corporate world things differently…

United just confirm new shirt deal with Aon Corp. For sure.. the first 2 leaked jersey was a confirm SCAM because the sponsor is Saudi Telecom. Hekelehhh..

However..the sponsorship will start on May 2010, so next season 2009/10, Manutd still with AIG with new kit. Then, for sure they will be another new kit for season 2010/11. Not good news for us huh??

The reason…because shirt manufacturers Nike already having produced United’s new strip for next season with the AIG logo, the Premier League champions will be forced to carry the AIG branding for the final 12 months of the £14 million-a-year contract.

Judging by audience response, Looking for Eric, screening in competition, will be even more beloved. Unsurprisingly, perhaps: the film is an ode to the footballing genius and life-coaching skills of a Frenchman – Eric Cantona. He is the hero of another Eric (Steve Evets), a divorced postman already struggling to keep himself together and whose two teenage sons are in trouble with a local gangster.

This is a less obviously political film than some of Loach’s work. Surprisingly, he and long-term writing partner Paul Laverty say little about recent industrial disputes by postal workers. A few swipes at Rupert Murdoch for helping to inflate ticket prices is about as incendiary as it gets.

The focus instead is on comedy: the camaraderie between Eric and his self-help-obsessed colleague Meatballs; the manly advice a ghostly Cantona gives him in a bedroom still lined with posters of the temperamental Gaul. A last-minute entry into revenge-thriller territory threatens to tip the film into melodrama. Overall, this is endearing, crowd-pleasing fare.

RAFAEL BENITEZ reckons that just one win against champions Manchester United would change Liverpool’s season next time around.

Such has been Liverpool’s poor recent record against the champions, that even co-owner Tom Hicks suggested after December’s home defeat that Liverpool did not look as if they believed they could beat their rivals.

It is certainly a matter of worry for fans and seeing United win their 17th league title – one short of Liverpool’s record – has heightened the concern.

Benitez accepts the problem and said: “If you beat Manchester United once it results in a six-point swing either way and that can be the difference.”

Liverpool finished 11 points behind the champions this season and Benitez wants his team to be hungrier next term.

Despite an end-of-season run that saw them lose just two of their 19 games, one of those defeats was a painful 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford in which Javier Mascherano was sent off.

What can I say about this match. It is wonderful result but the red card for Fletcher is a hiccup. Leading 2-0 in halftime then 3-0 with Ronaldo brace… Manutd made Arsenal crying early. Hahahaha..

Manchester United booked their place in the UEFA Champions League final with a 3-1 victory over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

Much of the damage was done inside the opening 11 minutes as United, leading 1-0 from the first leg, scored early goals through Park Ji-sung and Cristiano Ronaldo.

United knew that scoring one goal would leave Arsenal needing three and it took just eight minutes for them to break the deadlock, Park capitalising on a slip from Kieran Gibbs to fire home Ronaldo’s cut-back.

Ronaldo then silenced the home crowd and effectively killed off the contest three minutes later with a ferocious free-kick from distance that beat a despairing Manuel Almunia.

The defending European champions remained in complete control and Ronaldo made it 3-0 on the night in the 61st minute following a lightning-quick counter-attack involving Park and Wayne Rooney.

There was some disappointment for United when Darren Fletcher was shown a straight red card on 75 minutes despite appearing to have won the ball from Cesc Fabregas with a fair tackle.

A penalty was awarded and Robin van Persie converted his chance emphatically, but there was never any chance of a fightback and United held on to claim a 4-1 aggregate success.

Manchester United had little trouble moving past Arsenal in the Champions League semi-finals, winning 4-1 on aggregate. Defender Patrice Evra took some time to discuss the match and made a few statements that will rile up the Gunners faithful.

“Even today we have proved again that we are a strong team. They all spoke about this beautiful game of Arsenal, but unlike them, we allowed fewer goals and won, in addition to playing well,” the 27-year-old explained to Sky Sport immediately after the match.

“Today, the result was just, we also could have won 3-0. In football, beautiful play is not everything.”

The former Monaco star was confident that the Red Devils displayed their superiority over the Gunners.

“We are 11 men, they are 11 children; this is the difference. We are much more mature and have more confidence.”

Meanwhile, the left-back concluded by praising both Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo for the contributions to the club on their way to the final in Rome.

“After he [Ronaldo] won the Golden Ball, people criticized him for a while because he wasn’t at his best, but in reality he has never played badly,” he continued. “Rooney? Playing alongside him is great; he is a player who manages to do everything.”

£63m bid for Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery??

Manchester United have made an offer of about €70m (£62.5m) for the Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribéry as they close in on a deal that would shatter the world transfer record.

Sources in Munich confirmed the bid has been received for the France international, who has made his desire to leave Germany known in the past few weeks. United scouts have repeatedly watched the 26-year-old in recent Bundesliga matches and sounded out his friends and entourage in Munich.

United’s remarkable offer, which comfortably eclipses the record £44m paid by Real Madrid for Zinedine Zidane in 2001, is contingent on the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Madrid this summer but the approach to Bayern has been firm enough to suggest that the Portuguese’s departure is a near certainty. Although Bayern are understood to have turned down United’s offer, it is considered the first serious move in a negotiation that will eventually bring the winger to Old Trafford.

Ribéry, who earns €8m a year at the Allianz Arena, the equivalent of £134,000 a week, is set to replace Ronaldo as United’s highest-paid player. He is a really good player but 63million pound is too much. I don’t believe that Manutd will ever spend that much for one player. He is surely not coming.

Early this morning is quite wonderful. Manchester United truly dominance against Arsenal and take the lead in Champions League semi final 1st leg. Although its quite frustated to see Manutd only manage to win 1-0 in the match that we should win by more than 3 goals but a win is a win!!… Thanks O’Shea for the goal!

Manchester United take a 1-nil lead into the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Arsenal, after the holders failed to fully capitalise on their domination at Old Trafford.

An inspired display from Gunners goalkeeper Manuel Almunia ensured that John O’Shea’s 17th-minute strike was the only reward Sir Alex Ferguson’s side reaped from a first leg encounter they comfortably controlled.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger concedes they were outplayed, but is adamant they can turn it around. He says the positive is they are only 1-nil down and they played away home. He is convinced there will be a different Arsenal team in the second match.

Ryan Giggs, the most decorated player in English football history, made his 800th appearance for Manchester United on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old midfielder extended the club’s appearance record by replacing Anderson in the 67th minute of the 1-0 victory over Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal, 18 years after making his debut in March 1991.

Giggs thought he had provided a late second goal, but as he was celebrating, referee Claus Bo Larsen ruled that he was offside when racing through and rounding Manuel Almunia.

“If you asked me when I was 19, ‘Would you be playing in a Champions League semifinal at 35?’ I would have said, ‘No,”‘ Giggs said ahead of the match. “But I look after myself and it helps when you have good players around you.”

Giggs, who is contracted to the Red Devils until June 2010, has won 10 Premier League titles, two Champions League titles, four FA Cups and three League Cups with them.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has won the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award for the first time in his career.

The 35-year-old Welshman beat team-mates Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Cristiano Ronaldo and Edwin van der Sar as well as Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard.

Despite winning a host of honours, including 10 Premier League titles, the PFA award had eluded Giggs until now.

Aston Villa forward Ashley Young took the Young Player of the Year award.

He beat his Villa team-mate Gabriel Agbonlahor, Manchester United duo Jonny Evans and Rafael Da Silva, Aaron Lennon of Spurs and Manchester City’s Stephen Ireland.

Since making his League debut against Everton at Old Trafford in March 1991 aged 17, Giggs has been a key figure in Sir Alex Ferguson’s teams.

As well as the league crowns, Giggs has also won four FA Cups, three League Cups and two Champions League winner’s medals as well as two PFA young player awards.

“The manager has been massive in my career from when I first met him when I was 13,” Giggs said. “That’s over 20 years and he knows me better than anyone and our relationship has been brilliant and just gets better.

“I’ve been so fortunate to have such a great career in so many great teams, it’s not even worth thinking about what it would have been like without the manager.”

“As long as I’m getting picked, enjoying it and injury-free, I’ll carry on as long as I can. At 35 you can’t look too far into the distance, you just can’t.”

Manchester United and Chelsea are scared of Liverpool, claims Rafa Benitez

Rafa Benitez believes there is no bigger compliment to Liverpool’s potency than rival bosses attacking his team.

Jose Mourinho did it for years at Chelsea, constantly sniping about the Anfield club’s negative tactics and their “phantom” goal that won the first Champions League semi-final between the two clubs.

And now, after several years of patronising indulgence, Sir Alex Ferguson has also recognised the threat Liverpool offer in the title race by sending almost incessant criticism down the M62.

“It is because he is a little bit scared,” said Benitez yesterday.

“What Ferguson is saying about Liverpool shows that he is finally worried about us, and the challenge that Liverpool can make to his team, and I agree that is a compliment.

“We are stronger, we have a much better squad now and we have the quality to go all the way in both competitions now.

He knows that, and maybe that has changed his attitude towards us.

“I had a very good relationship with him. He was very, very polite after we won the Champions League in Istanbul and sent a letter congratulating us for our tactics.

“I went with him to Switzerland on a coaches forum, and we sat together talking on the plane.

“But maybe it has changed because we are doing better, and that is what I like to think about my team. I will always protect my team, but the main thing in all of this is that we have a better squad that can win more trophies.”

While Ferguson seems a more recent convert to the anti- Benitez club, Mourinho was perhaps its founding member, and tonight’s Champions League showdown with Chelsea is underscored by the lingering resentment between the two sides.

According to the Sun, doctors diagnosed a 'racing heart' when Ronaldo was in his mid-teens and it was feared the Portuguese winger, now the World Footballer of trhe Year, would have to give up playing.

He was playing for Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon when the problem emerged.

He underwent thorough medical examinations and it was decided to operate to solve his irregular heartbeat.

The condition is not uncommon and many high-profile footballers have suffered from heart difficulties.

Former Manchester City midfielder Marc-Vivien Foe died while playing for Cameroon in 2003, while France World Cup winner Lilian Thuram was forced to retire last year because of a heart problem.

Portsmouth striker Kanu is another with a history of heart concerns. However, fortunately for Ronaldo, delicate laser surgery cured his problem and enabled him to become the world's No 1 player.

Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, said: "His heart raced a lot when he wasn't running.

"The people in charge at Sporting alerted me and I went to Portugal where I had to sign some papers and authorise him being treated in hospital.

"They used a sort of laser to cauterise the source of the problem. He was operated on in the morning and came out at the end of the afternoon.

"Before we knew exactly what he had I was worried because there was the possibility of him giving up playing football.

"But the treatment went well and after some days he was back at training again."

I never know Ronaldo got heart operation before. Lucky for him, the doctor detect it earlier.

Manchester United in the right track to retain the title!

I do agree with Sir Alex…watching Manchester United vs Arsenal last night was a really “mind torturing”!! …especially in the first half. I just can’t stop my finger from changing from channel to channel in every 5 minutes because it is quite stressful. Luckily, there is no goal from the Gunners in the first half.

When the second half started with Adebayor goal, I just shut down my TV and go straight to bed!! I am pretty sure that it will end 0-1 and United might losing some valuable points!! The fact that Adebayor use his hand for that goal really makes me sicker!

But then I received SMS from Maxis that said…United leveled by another Ronaldo penalty kick!! That SMS wake me up and I once again end up in front of the TV. Thanks to Gallas that gives another penalty to Manchester United!! ( He must be United’s fan in disguise )

That goal changing the flow of the match quite instantly. United take control of the match really well and finally when Hargreaves scored that wonderful free kick… I just take my hand phone and ready to SMS all my Arsenal’s fan just too hurt their feeling..hahahaha..
But..yeah..it is already mid night.. I don’t think that is a good time to bother them and their family. Furthermore…”esok masih ada…( I still have tomorrow..)”

With that important goal, Arsenal surely out of the title challenge for this season. This year title must be between United and Chelsea. Arsenal was behind by 9 points with only maximum 12 points up for grab! It is quite impossible for Arsenal to catch United or even Chelsea.

Chelsea never lose at Stamford Bridge for almost 4 years now… maybe this year is the best time for them too lose and United will hurt them more by retaining the Premier League title at Stamford Bridge!

I can smell the victory….Oh YEAH!

About 6 years ago, Sir Alex announced that he would like to retire in 2002. But he stayed until today. However, last night, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has indicated that he will be at the help of the club for three more years, and then retire.

The question of Ferguson's retirement has been the subject of much debate. There had been muted suggestions that he was on the verge of retiring two years ago after three years without major silverware (partly due to comments from him), but he has since turned things around in style.

That, of course, will mean a historic 25 years in the job for him. Finding someone to step into his shoes will be as much of a challenge, and while he backs Carlos Quieroz, he insists that a final responsibility would rest with the owners not him.

Manchester United are in the quarter finals courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo's 30th goal of the season but, if they have genuine aspirations of winning the European Cup again, there might have to be a discernible improvement in the next phase of the competition.

Ferguson was not too harsh on his players because, on the whole, it was an evening of rich satisfaction, with United equalling a Champions League record, set by Juventus in 1997, with a 10th successive win on their own ground. Yet the manager had a valid point. Old Trafford is a seductive place under floodlights and these occasions tend to bring out the best in his men but this was a peculiar performance featuring some exhilarating attacking football but also pockets of action when the players in red - Ronaldo included - looked strangely out of sorts.

In those moments the stadium reverberated to the sound of heavy groans as passes were misplaced and usually reliable individuals such as the Portuguese and Wayne Rooney were guilty of making poor decisions in dangerous areas.

Instead it was another night when Ronaldo demonstrated his ability not just to decorate games but to have a decisive impact. Two more goals and he will equal George Best's total of 32 from the 1967-68 season, a record for a United winger, and when he was substituted in stoppage time the crowd have him a standing ovation.

So, tonight Manchester United will face Lyon in Champions League 2nd leg. I am ready to watch this match. My plan is to going back home early, then, take a sleep as early as 8pm then wake up at 3.30am. I don’t want to miss this match. I have read in the newpaper last night that Barcelona has joined the race to sign £40m-rated Cristiano Ronaldo. The Spanish club is said that they are scared their arch-rivals Real Madrid could have stolen a march in trying to lure the brilliant midfielder from Manchester United. The Nou Camp plan to sell off some of their fading stars, like Deco, Ronaldinho and former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudiohnsen to finance new deals. But Barca’s influential sport director Txiki Begiristain revealed his club’s serious interest in Ronaldo on Spanish TV programme Gol a Gol at the weekend.

I am quite worry to heard about it but I don’t think that Ronaldo would like to leave a huge club like Manchester United.

Last weekend result was really good for Manchester United fan because not only United thrashed Fulham 3-0 but Arsenal was draw 1-1 against Villa. So, United only 1 point behind leader, Arsenal.
Due to United have to face Lyon this Wednesday in Champions League, it is wonderful to see United second team managed to grab another huge win. It is also quite similar with what happen 2 weeks ago when United second team humiliated Arsenal 4-0 in FA Cup.

During that match, I just waiting the latest result through SMS. As I told before, they are no sport channel at my hometown. Since, I have nothing to do, I choose to attend political gathering near my house. I am not really like politics but since Malaysia in general election season at this season, I just love to heard what the politician would like to promise and lying to the villagers.

The gathering finish around 11pm and when I am on the way back to my house, there is small accident happen just 50m away. The accident was between the van and the motorcycle. They have a huge quarrel and a lot of blaming but I just don't care. In my opinion, there is no need to fight about who's to blame because you can just call you Van Insurance agent and they will take all the blame by repairing the damage for you!! Am I right ???

Soon after I arrived home, I just go straight away to sleep and forget about United vs Fulham match. The next day, I realized that I have received 5 SMS that contains the result and the goalscorer information!! Oh great!! 3-0 !! First goal from Hargreaves!! Great!

Manchester United really get back on track to retain the English Premier League after they earned a valuable victory 3-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage. With this result, United moving just a point behind Arsenal, who could only manage a very lucky draw across town at the Emirates Stadium when Bertner scored in injury time.

As for United, the goals came from Owen Hargreaves and Ji-sung Park in the first half. Then, Simon Davies own goal rounded off the scoring 0-3.

Great result for United because they rested most of they important players in order to prepare for Champions League 2nd leg match against Lyon.

Since the day, the American businessman Malcolm Glazer made an attempt to buy the club in 2004, they has been a lot of disagreement by the PLC board because of the large amount of borrowing his bid would rely on.

They felt that if Malcom Glazer failed to pay for the loan that he has made, then he might mortgage the club and surely his move will destroy one of the best football club in the world. Tonight I will drive back to my wife hometown in Penang. There will be no sports channel this weekend because my mother in law didn't subscribe with that channel. And its also mean that... I cannot watch this week Manchester United vs Fulham. Yeah... I gonna miss another EPL match this week.

Hopefully, United can maintain their good form and defeat Fulham comfortably!

Although I am a Manchester United fan but what happen to Arsenal young player, Eduardo last week really make me sad. Injury in football was quite normal but I believe it can be prevented. Week in..week out…we can see many players doing the same dangerous tackle as Martin Taylor but many were survived!! Eduardo was completely unlucky this time because the timing and his leg position was perfect for such injury.

Maybe this is the reason why we can see Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo always jumping and drop his body when facing every tackle because he just want to take care of his feet and prevent worst injury just like what happen to Eduardo!

Talking about such injury in football, I wonder how much Accident Compensation does the footballer received for such injury in the field. It must be a huge sum of money considering their asset was their legs! I never have any experience on claiming compensation before but from what I read from the newspaper, its sometime cost up to million dollar!.

Finally, I hope that Eduardo can fast recover from the injury and can get back to his best again. He never worried United defender when United meets Arsenal about 2 weeks ago. So, his fast recovery should be no effect to United isn’t it??

Paul Scholes is back but he must regain his place from Anderson. By looking at the way Anderson played at this moment, I always prefer him rather than Scholes.

Although I agree with what Ray Wilkins said..

Paul is an absolute must. He's still one of the best in the country. I know some critics may claim he might be on his way out, but I bet none of United's opponents are thinking that.

But... everytime Anderson play.. Manchester United control the ball a lot better at midfield.

When David Beckham left the legacy of sacred No.7 to Cristiano Ronaldo, then he also produce what Beckham did with Manchester United…tremendous play …great goals…and wonderful in modelling stage!!!

And also when Beckham take out his shirt and show off his body, then Ronaldo also make the same move.

Yeah..I admit he had a big muscle there. But..now I wonder….

Do Manchester United giving Bodybuilding Supplements to their players nowadays just for them to show off?? Maybe they should give others supplementary as well because most of them look very weak when body contact happens in the field…especially in penalty box!!! Huhu

With Gunners 2-2 draw at Birmingham, this result became more meaningful for United. Newcastle United always has problem everytime they face Manutd. Last time at Old Trafford, they also got thrashed 6-0. So, this result must be a quite normal result everytime Manutd meet Toons. Haha..

In this match, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo both scored twice as United closed the gap on Arsenal at the top with only 3 points adrift. Before Saha make it 5-1 in the last minutes of the match.

During this match, I am at my mother in law’s house in Penang. No ESPN & StarSports because they don’t subscribe with it. So, I didn’t watch this match. However, the day after that, my brother in law said..it is a boring match. Eemmm..is it true?? 5 goals scored in a single match can still be considered as boring?? I don’t know…

The more I read about Glazer and what he did to Manchester United from no debt soccer club to highly indebt soccer club in the world really make me nervous about the future of Manutd FC.

Since he gaining control of the club on 28 June when he increased his share to 98%, that make it enough for a compulsory buyout of all remaining shareholders, the Glazer family's intentions for United remain unclear, but it is thought they will try to expand the club's brand name in the United States, Asia, and Africa, where United are well-followed, based on a variety of factors, including TV audiences and merchandise sales.

The issue of Glazer is totally different compared with Roman Abromovich take over of Chelsea because Glazer buying the share by using Secured Loans money! It will not make the club richer but maybe might put unnecessary pressure to the club that I worry can affect United performance on the pitch especially if the interest were increasing. Now, I heard that he is looking for refinance package to reduce the burden of the club. Hopefully, this is good move.

As a result of Glazer's takeover, a small group of disgruntled United supporters created a new club called F.C. United of Manchester, which was accepted into the North West Counties League second division, six promotions away from The Football League, and secured promotion in its first two seasons as league champions.

With last season successful season can only brings enough profits just for loan repayment, I don’t know what to expect when United finish without trophy….or fail to qualify for Champions League…Gooshhh… Look at what happen to Leeds United…Hopefully it wont happen to my beloved Manchester United.

It wasn’t easy to wake up alone at 3.30am just to watch Manchester United play early this morning. But since I already miss so many Manutd’s Champions League match, I pushed myself to wake up! Fuuuhhhh!!!

Before the match start, I already can feel that Manutd will dominate this match but Lyon will score first because it is the normal things that happen when Manutd face a team that strong in defend.

It is a marvellous strike from Karim Benzema and I can’t deny it. United didn’t play bad in this match, but Lyon defender was too hard too break!

Luckily, it is a late Carlos Tevez goal levelled the scores on the night, and handed United the advantage in the Reds’ Champions League last 16 tie with Olympique Lyonnais.
With this result, I quite confident that Manutd can beat Lyon at home and advance to next round!

Richest football club but do they really make profit??

When the Glazer family bought Manchester United in 2005, the fans protested loud and at length about the implications especially regarding the debt that he might brings to the club.

Then, when last season Manchester United successfully regained their position as Britain's richest football club, posting record figures for turnover and profit for the last financial year, we start to think that Manchester United will get more money for next season transfer market. Is it true??

Yes…but maybe not because almost all of the profit will be required to meet interest payments on loans incurred by the Glazer family.

Figures published early last year to June 2007 show United's gross turnover was up 21% to £245m, comfortably exceeding the £202m posted by Arsenal last year. Profits before tax rose to £59.6m, a 93% increase on the previous year.

This impressive upsurge in revenue was actually fuelled by capacity at Old Trafford increasing to 76,000, extra media revenue generated by winning the Premier League, reaching the FA Cup final and the semi-final of the Champions League, and a rise in commercial income thanks largely to the record shirt-sponsorship deal with AIG.

After tax, the club's profits were £42,289,000, just exceeding the £42m required to service annual interest payments of 8% on a £525m loan secured against the club's assets by the Glazer-owned holding company, Red Football. The family is also liable for interest of almost £20m annually on a further £135m in borrowing.

By looking at this statistics, Manchester United maybe can survive from debt disaster in the future. Debt Management of Glazer’s family were proven quite good at these moments and hopefully they can maintain it because if something wrong, we might losing some good player such as Ronaldo to a club like Real Madrid.

Ryan Giggs joins Champions League 100 Club

Last night should be one of the most memorable for my favourite player, Ryan Giggs. At the age of 34, Ryan Giggs has become only the eighth player to make 100 Champions League appearances after captaining the Reds in Wednesday night’s draw with Lyon, and Sir Alex Ferguson admits everyone at United is proud of the veteran winger.

Before the match against Lyon, he was presented with a silver salver after following in the footsteps of Raul, Roberto Carlos, Paolo Maldini, David Beckham, Oliver Kahn, Luis Figo and Clarence Seedorf in passing the century mark.

What a great achievement by him after he has been awarded OBE last year!

What make even better, the stadium were almost full in almost all matches!! No London clubs can even match that statistics especially when I heard that there are a growing number of people are moving out of London and into more suburban areas? It is because most of them look to take advantage of cheaper house prices in the suburbs area.

According to one of global estate agent; commuter levels into the capital are rising, particularly among those people coming from the edge of the commuter limit, as they move out of the centre.

The expert claims that for every extra minute you have to travel, that knocks £1,000 off of the average house price. It is £1,000 cheaper but you have to travel for an extra minute, effectively. That really makes people to choose moving suburb especially in the commuter areas. Furthermore, with Mortgage services can easily been found nowadays, people are more convenient to move.

To watch Manutd humiliated Arsenal has been my dream for such a long time. The last time I remember they done it was on 2001 when they crushed them 6-1.

Although my Arsenal’s fan said it is because Arsenal rested some of their first team players but they forget that Manutd also do the same. Even United best player at this moment, Ronaldo was not include!!

What happen last night was not by luck. Sir Alex has known many things about Arsenal game play. They too much depend on their midfield area and they didn’t have any good winger to deliver a good set piece from left or right side of the field. If we look at all Manutd previous match, than we will notice that United were always in trouble when dealing with a good winger such as against Hotspurs when they need to stop Aaron Lennon. You know why??..It is because United left and right defender, Evra and Brown were always go up to support United attacking and slowly going down.

By fielding 5 strong midfielders against Arsenal, then surely Arsenal in trouble! They managed to cancel Febregas quite well..and wallaaaaaa……4-0 !!!..
Although United should scored more than that, especially Rooney..but it is enough to humiliate them and their fan!!!..

Fake Manutd player's signature cost £400

It is quite unbelievable when I have read about some people were easily got conned with signed fake stuff that cost them up to £400 by Sporting Icons Limited, which has a store in Chester city centre and also operates on the internet site eBay.

There are reports that some Manutd fan has bought get well soon card that supposedly signed by Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo at £150 per card.

Similarly, some were paid £500 for a Manchester United Treble Winners picture in February 2005 with an allegedly fake Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signature.

Other customers are said to have paid between £60 and £400 for signed items, all now part of the prosecution evidence.

When customers demanded certificates of authentication, they even forged those too.

Even when the authority raids the Sporting Icons owner house, they recovered pieces of paper which he said had been used to practice the signatures of Wayne Rooney and Pele.

£60 and £400 for a single signature is really too much man! I don’t know what those guy thinking when spending that much of money. It is better for him to buy italian luxury handbags as a present rather than that get well soon card with signature. Especially the one makes by leather with the tradition and the true style Made in Italy. The one that received the handbag will surely be happy to receive handbag instead of a normal card with signature.

Benzema and Ben Arfa for United?

Manchester United is rumored to sign new players, Hatem ben Arfa and Karim Benzema from Lyon next season. Although I am not sure either Sir Alex really wants them or this is only another Sir Alex strategy to divert the player’s interest towards their next Champions league match when Manchester United will face Lyon in 2nd round.

If it is true then Fergie will have a closer look at the pair when United face the French side in the Champions League this week – but he did nothing to quell speculation that he is set to move for the £30m-rated Benzema as well as Ben Arfa.

Amid rumours that he has already offered £21m for the player dubbed “the new Zidane”, Fergie described him as a “possibility”.

Benzema has confirmed his first choice is a move to Milan, but admitted he would be tempted by offers from United and Juventus, while Arsenal is also monitoring his progress.

He is high rated, however, I never see him play yet. Maybe I can judge either he is good enough to play for Manutd when Manutd face them next week!

Manchester United climbed to second as Real remains the richest

Delloitte just release their latest 'Football Money League' table of the world's 20 biggest soccer clubs ranked by revenue early this week. Manchester United that had been ranked No. 1 for nine season until Real Madrid knock them off since 2004/05 season, climbed two places to second in the latest ranking.
Its mean that Barcelona has been pushed to 3rd place and Manutd’s rival in EPL, Chelsea and Arsenal climbed to 4th and 5th place respectively.

Real Madrid, which won the Spanish Liga last season, saw its revenues leap 20 percent to 351 million euros ($511.2 million) during the 2006/07 season, while Manchester United, also winners of last season's Premier League, posted revenues of 315 million euros.

This is actually good news for Manchester United because they actually loose their place as the richest club since the day they choose to sell David Beckham. Although some of you might argue with that, I quite sure it is one of the main reasons why Real Madrid start ranked higher than United about 3 years ago.

This proves that the beauty really makes money although in sports such as soccer!! So, no need to feel weird when you are reading about the celebrities got Breast Enlargement because it is their assets in their career. Even David Beckham wife, Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice has rumored to have had liposuction to keep in shape.

New signing, Manucho makes Africa's best XI

It is great to see Manchester United latest signing, Manucho from Angola’s club, Petro, has been include in the Africa Cup of Nations XI, ahead of some of world football's most feared strikers. Chelsea's Didier Drogba was named among the subs, while Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o missed out altogether.

Manucho has scored four goals in that tournament that helps Angola advanced to quarter final.

However, Manucho will not playing with United this season because his next move will be to link up with his loan club Panathinaikos for the rest of the season.

Although Mourinho has expressed doubt over whether Angola star Manucho will ever play for Manchester United, I quite confident he can success at Old Trafford!

Last week, I have gone back my hometown to see my family. My mother and father were quite old but still can do a lot of hard work by themselves. Some of my friends choose to send their loves one to care homes but I don’t think I would like to do the same although they are a lot of good care homes service that could meet my requirement can be found near my area. It is not because that I don’t believe with their services but it is because I believe it is my obligation to take care of them myself when they grow old.

I have a good holiday; however, last night was one of the worst driving day in my life. I am driving from Penang and it is traffic jam all the way from Penang to Kuala Lumpur. SIgghhh.. Normally, it took less than 4 hours of driving but this time…it took almost 11 hours!!!

That is the reason why I miss last night match between Manchester United and Manchester City.
To make it even worst….. Manutd lose 1-2 at home !!

The match was preceded by a moving minute’s silence to the 23 people who lost their lives in Munich fifty years ago. The team sheet numbered United's men one to 16, while City stuck to their usual numbering on special commemorative shirts devoid of sponsors' logos. The Red Devils' V-neck tops were also a copy of the famous 50's jerseys worn by the Busby Babes.

Without suspended Rooney and Evra, United seriously missed the energy and attacking intent. Although, it is Ryan Giggs that started the match with promising attack but unluckily, it is City that scored first in 24 minutes and adds the 2nd goal a minute before half time and lets the visitors completed a league double over their neighbours for the first time since 1970 and their first win at Old Trafford since 1974.

Another boring day..

I have nothing to do at this time. My wife still at her mother’s house in Penang and I am still alone at my house. Sigghhh..
So, yesterday I have phoned Nize for a lunch together at BK4. That places actually our favorite “Medan Selera” during my bachelor day.

During lunch, he said he would like to register with web hosting service with his own domain. Currently his blog, Kepehkepeh was hosted under blogspot service just like this blog. He asked me for my advice because previously I have done it for my wife blog. The only thing that I can say to him is that, there is a lot of web hosting choice in the market right now and I am the one that has made a wrong choice!

After registered with one of local web hosting service that I have found in the net, my wife blog were always down and once its down…she is losing a lot of visitor!..
Since, we already paid the service for 1 year, we have no choice but to wait until its expired!...Sigghhh…

This match is total under Manutd control. However, the result didn't show it! 2-0 is not enough if we considered that this was a game United controlled from start to finish. Losing 4 key players to African Nations Cup really wreck Portmouth squad.

This is a really great performances from Manutd..hopefully they can continue this winning streak until the end of this season!!

Before this match started, its already clear that Manutd will face a tough challenge against this on form squad that humiliated The Gunner 5-1 in Carling Cup Semi Final just a couple days before that.

Since my wife not around this weekend, I decided to watch this match with my friend at mamak stall in Petaling Jaya SS14. This place has been my favorite place to watch EPL match since I am still in the university.

Manutd started this match quite well. However, it is Hotspur that scored it first. It is a shock goal from Robbie Keane. But still.. I am confident that Manutd will win this match.

What a nervous match last night at Madejski Stadium. Reading played an open game and their stubborn resistance nearly cost Manutd all the 3 points.

The only different between these 2 sides were… Manutd have Rooney and Ronaldo that can change their team luck in split second although the whole team played badly! Oh yeah!

It took 77 minutes for Rooney to put United in front with an expert flicked finish, but it should have been far more straightforward. Ronaldo’s goal deep in injury time confirmed victory, although this was a win that tested the nerves.

What a nice Manchester United Romper

My wife safely delivered our 1st baby last week. He is a boy! It is mean that Manutd will have a new fan in Malaysia. Hahaha.. what a great feeling!

I still didn't give any name for my baby yet. Although Ryan Giggs and Carlos Teves were my favorite player, I don't think I have gut to name my boy after them. My mom might kill me and my mother in law will never let me visit their home anymore.

However, soon after delivery, the first thing that I do is surfing the internet for any Manchester United merchandise that might suit my baby. Then, I find this marvelous baby romper at compare prices website called Savebuckets.

It is a really cool romper for baby isn't it?? I would like to buy it as soon as I look at it. However, since I am not sure about which size that I should choose.... I think I have to wait for a while...SIgghhhh...

This match should be one of Manutd memorable match in this season!.. Manutd biggest win in this season and also Cristiano Ronaldo first hattrick! Oh great!

Unlucky for me, I didn’t watch this match LIVE because I have to bring my wife and mother in law for shopping. I have no choice..iskk..iisskkk…
They stayed at the mall for quite a long time and really make me restless because I know the match is on the way. The only good thing for me is that I registered with Maxis EPL service that will send SMS just before the match start with Manutd line-up and also SMS for every goal scored!! So, while waiting at that mall, I received the first SMS on line-up… Ronaldo, Teves and Rooney were playing!!..it is a really good news. However, after about 50 minutes… I still didn’t received another SMS and it makes me worry…because no SMS means..no goal yet!!

However, after my wife decides to leave the mall, I received another SMS… 1-0 for Manutd from Cristiano Ronaldo on 49 minutes!!! Great!!!
Then..another SMS.. 2-0..and another…3-0……

Luckily, when I am arrive home, the match still have another 10 minutes and I managed to watch another 3 good goals from Ferdinand, Ronaldo and Teves!!

Manutd started year 2008 with a win!! This is not a normal win...but it is a very LUCKY win..siggghhhh...

When I found out that Saha not in the 1st eleven players, I thought it is a good decision by Sir Alex after his sluggish performance again West Ham. Then, Carrick is playing...what a great decision again.

But then....when the game start..I noticed that Carrick played terribly. His passing is no better than Malaysia players!! Hahaha.. I hate it when its happen to one of my favorite player.

Luckily .. Teves is there to help Manutd maintains the 2nd spot! Thanks again to him and a good goal and goal celebration as well.

This is one of the finest book and maybe the most expensive books released by the champion. There are 3 different kind of books and contains original signature by Sir Alex and Sir Bobby Charlton. I would love to own this however I change my mind after seeing the price.

It costs around £3000 ~ £4000 (RM21,000 ~ RM28,000) per book!!! OMG!

It is terrible! Although Manutd lead by Ronaldo goal, I do admit West Ham played a lot better than Manutd and deserved the all 3 points. Manutd players looks sluggish and most of their passing were terrible just like Malaysia players!!

What I hate most is to see Louis Saha that don’t have any urgency after receiving good pass from the midfield. I believe he is hardly sweat in this match. He is the worst player tonight and I hate it every time he received the ball !!

Although Ronaldo missed the penalty, I don’t think I want to blame him. He scored quite a nice goal and having a hard time throughout the match with hard tackle from West Ham players.

However, it is quite clear, the turning point of this match is when Ronaldo missed the penalty!! What a sad result..iskk..iskk..

My hometown team, Kedah has a unique TREBLE last season. In Malaysia league, each time we are talking about Green-Yellow (Hijau Kuning), the whole Malaysia knows that we are talking about Kedah football team. They already won the FA Cup title and Malaysia Super League title. Malaysia Cup will completed their unique TREBLE !!.The first in history!

When talking about Green-Yellow, I remember Manchester United first kit (more than 100 years ago..) that is also Green-Yellow kits. At that time, the name is still “Newton Heath”. In 1993, the kits has been recreated and worn by the 1993 team to celebrate United's humble beginnings.

Now you know what Manchester United and Kedah have in common!!..Hahaha..

What a wonderful result! Although it seems that Liverpool controlled most of the match but Manutd repeated last season result at Anfield.

Sir Alex really know how to play against Liverpool at Anfield. Ha hahahaha..
